"Modell Plus is a project initiated by private individuals that intends to build a house where owners, renters and traders would live and work together. With the assistance of the IBB’s (Investment Bank Berlin) building fund, the majority of the planed house can be rented out at a socially acceptable level. Even after the expiry of the rent and tenant control the subsidies provided by the state should not lose their impact. Therefore the subsidized flats will permanently be let for a not-profitable rent."
